If your family don’t have a place to stay or are living in poor housing, you might need extra support to help you at school.
5 ways that schools have supported pupils with housing problems:
- Help with transport so you can get to school on time
- Money to help your family pay for uniform or school trips
- Free school lunches
- Help to settle in if you have to move schools
- Access to a computer if you don’t have one at home.
You can contact Shelter Scotland for advice if you’re homeless or you’ve got problems at home that are making it hard for you to live there.
