How anxiety affects you at school

Louise a young person from Falkirk is on a campaign to help teachers get better at supporting pupils with anxiety.

After her own struggle with anxiety, Louis ended up dropping out of school. She wants to make sure other young people don’t end up taking that route. “It was a very confusing feeling. I didn’t really know what was going on,” explains Louise.  “In school I often felt trapped, which caused me to panic. It got so bad that I had to leave. My team and I, who have all had similar experiences, are pushing for more awareness of social anxiety so schools are able to support those who are affected by it.”

With the help of Fixers, Louise and her team have made this film.
